What do you get with a wedding at Kinsey?Tables including custom-built farm tables with a mix of round banquet tables 450 wooden folding chairs Vintage industrial carts and workbenches for food service or other use Industrial pub height tables and stools to use for cocktail hour (10 sets with 4 stools per set available). Several vintage upholstered sofas and chairs to choose from to use in multiple areas in the warehouse. We also have a constant revolving stash of antiques, vintage furniture and accessories. You will have access to any vintage accessories that are in our inventory, such as rugs for defining spaces or for use during a ceremony, mirrors, flameless candlesticks, vases, architectural items, etc., to decorate the warehouse. Venue manager on the day of the wedding.

How to reserve a date?We can reserve dates based on a first-come first-served basis. A signed agreement with Kinsey Events and a non-refundable payment of $1,500 to hold the date.

Does the venue have bathrooms?Kinsey Events warehouse has multiple bathrooms, all meeting ADA accessibility.

Does the venue have a bridal suite?Yes, there is large bridal suite with changing area, lounging area, makeup/prep area, wet bar, and more.

Does the venue have heat and air conditioning?The warehouse has a mix of heat and air conditioning. The large reception room is basically three seasons with overhead radiant heating for cooler season weddings. Winter weddings would be held in our smaller room that is fully heated. The bar area, bathrooms, and bridal suite are fully heated and air conditioned.

Do we supply linens, dinnerware, silverware?We do not but you are more than welcome to rent them from a local event rental company in the area. We offer vintage color and clear water goblets for $2/glass.

Does the venue require specific vendors?The only vendor that we require is the bartending service, due to concerns on liability and insurance. We can provide recommendations for other vendors and others would need to be approved by venue management.

Is the venue BYOB?Alcohol is supplied by the client and served by the bartending service. The bartending service will supply the cups, mixers, and fruits. The state liquor stores and our local beer distributor allow returns with certain restrictions.

Does the venue offer catering?The venue does not offer catering. You must use a fully insured, licensed caterer. We have a list of wonderful options and any others would need to be approved by venue management. We have a prep space for the caterers in a separate room.

How many parking spots are available?Our lot can accommodate approximately 100 cars with overflow in the neighbor parking lots.

Does the venue allow pets?Our clients are more than welcomed to bring their fur babies to their wedding. They shall be leashed at all times for safety reasons due to traffic on the adjacent road.

Does the venue provide décor?Kinsey Events provides classic items for table decorations, such as antique brass candle sticks with flameless tapered candles, glass cylinders with candles, and various lanterns, vintage suitcases and crates, and more.

Does the venue provide audio visual equipment?No. This will need to be provided by the DJ.

Is a wedding planner required?Yes, the venue requires at a minimum a professional day of wedding coordinator. This does not include a family or friend attending the wedding.

Does the venue provide an outdoor space?The warehouse has an outdoor seating area with propane fire pit with seating for around 10-15 people.

Can the ceremony be held onsite?There are three options for onsite ceremonies. There are two indoor area, one accommodating up to around 250 people and the other up to 200 people. The third space is outside and can accommodate up to 200 people.

How many guests can the venue accommodate?We can accommodate any size parties, from small cozy 75 to large comfortable 350.

Are there any prohibited items?The following list is not all-inclusive but an example of items that are not allowed. Confetti, interior sparklers, glitter, flower petals, real tapered candles, silly string, bird seed, or rice.

Is the client required to purchase wedding insurance?Yes! The venue and vendors have general liability insurance but as the event host, the clients also have risk of liability if one of your guests is injured. The cost of event insurance and liquor liability is around $120.

Can we rent the building for other events?Absolutely! You can really have any type of event here. Photo sessions, parties, reunions, and meetings, to name a few. Subject to availability. What is Kinsey Vintage Market?Kinsey Vintage Market has more than 50 antique, artisan, and small brick and mortar small businesses from all over the tri-state area. The KVM is an event-based market and not open on a daily basis. We hold two markets per year with the Spring KVM around the beginning of May and the Holiday KVM taking place in November, usually the weekend before Thanksgiving.

What kind of events do you host?In addition to the Kinsey Vintage Market, we hold several community events throughout the year. This year will feature some fun date night activities, DIY Classes and we're working on some fun Farm to Table projects.
